Yudong ZHANG defended in 2004 a cotutelle PHD thesis (in Metz France), that has been awarded as “one among the 100 best theses” of China,a habilitation thesis in 2012, distinguished with summa cum laude. She has a permanent position as research engineer at University of Lorraine, in charge of a service of transmission electron microscopy. She works notably on martensitic transformation, shape memory alloys,publishes regularly papers in high level scientific journals. | |
Bo YANG has prepared a cotutelle PhD thesis on ferromagnetic shape memory alloys thin films, in Metz, France, under the supervision of Dr. Habil Yudong ZhangProf. Claude Esling, from the French side. His thesis was distinguished with summa cum laude,has been summarized in two Acta Materialia publications. In 2015, he joined the research group of Prof. Xiang Zhao as a post-doc in Northeastern University, China, where he recently got an associate professorship. | |
Claude ESLING is Professor Emeritus of University of Lorraine. He has worked on crystallographic textures with Prof. Hans Bunge, TU Clausthal-Zellerfeld, in the first part of his career,then for thirty years with Northeastern University Shenyang, on material treatment under high magnetic field,on Ferromagnetic Shape Memory Alloys, notably with the two co-authors of the Café des Sciences. |
講座主題:《馬氏體轉變——從形狀記憶效應到新型固態制冷》
內容簡介:眾所周知,馬氏體相變是一種無原子擴散相變或稱為切變型相變。馬氏體相變過程原子以協同切變方式進行,從而導致晶體結構的變化形成馬氏體。通常,原子的切變量小于原子間距,并且保持相對位置不變。馬氏體轉變是形狀記憶效應的基礎,即能夠“記住”原始材料的形狀,并且在外界環境(熱、電或磁場等)刺激下能夠恢復原始形狀。另一方面,馬氏體相變或者逆馬氏體相變過程中伴隨著熱量變化,可以實現熱量從低溫物體向高溫物體轉移。利用馬氏體相變的潛熱的新型固態制冷技術,沒有對臭氧層破壞作用的氟利昂制冷劑,具有綠色環保、高效節能等特點,被認為是最有望替代傳統壓縮空氣制冷的新型制冷技術。
